Two people have been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray after a argument broke out on Monday afternoon in High Wycombe.

Four men, one of whom was in possession of a hacksaw, were involved in the argument in Totteridge Road, High Wycombe, at around 3pm.

A 29-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He has been bailed until 18 June.

A 26-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has been released under investigation.

Investigating officer, PC Alex Spencer, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch.

“As it happened in the middle of the afternoon, I believe that it is likely people saw what happened.
