Two people were injured in a pile-up involving at least five cars on the M40 just before rush hour.
Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway at 4.45pm following the smash, which happened between junction 3 for Loudwater and junction 2 for Beaconsfield.
A man and a woman suffered what were believed to be minor injuries.
