A major police investigation is underway in High Wycombe this morning following reports of a serious incident overnight.

Length road closures remain in place throughout the town, causing rush hours chaos for motorists.
There is a car within the cordon that has a smahed window and visible damage to the windscreen.

West Wycombe Road has been closed in both directions because of an incident from Desborough Avenue to Arch Way (Eden Shopping Centre), according to traffic reports.

The road closure has been in place since 4.30am today.
Thames Valley Police have been approached for comment, but no official statement has yet been released.
