Two men have been released without charge and one man has been released under investigation in relation to an attack on a man in High Wycombe yesterday.
A major police investigation was launched in High Wycombe yesterday, with West Wycombe Road closed off by officers for a number of hours after they were called at around 3.20am to reports of a man being attacked in a vehicle.
The road was closed at the junction of Desborough Avenue and The Pastures.
The man, in his 20s, was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and has since been discharged.
Police said the he was in a grey Toyota Avensis, which was damaged during the incident.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "A 21-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both from Rotherham have been released without charge. A 22-year-old man from Rotherham has been released under investigation.
"The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can call 101 quoting reference 43190169473 or make a report online."
