More than 1,700 budding sports stars took part in the annual Festival of Football in Flackwell Heath at the weekend.
Girls and boys from 200 different teams travelled to the Green Dragon Lane sports ground on Saturday and Sunday to battle it out in the tournament, which was hosted again by Flackwell Heath Minor FC.
The annual event sees teams come from far and wide with other community groups helping make the day fun for spectators and players.
The event aims to raise money for the club, which is invested into new goals, hiring better training facilities and grounds improvement.
Club chairman Declan Breen said: “We’ve been incredibly lucky with the weather again this year, glorious sunshine and great football have made it a great event.
“We’ve had over 1,700 boys and girls playing football over the two days.
“It’s helped us raise much needed funds for the club, which will provide new equipment and refurbish our clubhouse.
“A big thanks has to go to all our coaching staff, parents and their families and friends and volunteers from the village, we couldn’t have done it without them.”
