A car had to be dragged out of the River Thames in a quiet Bucks village this afternoon.
Firefighters had to use a winch to remove the vehicle from the Thames in Ferry Lane in Medmenham just before 2pm today.
The vehicle was empty when emergency services arrived at the scene and it is not clear how it ended up in the river.
Two fire crews from High Wycombe, one from Beaconsfield, the Water Rescue Unit from Beaconsfield and an officer attended and the incident was left with Thames Valley Police.
