Live music won out against the rain on Saturday when Burnham Festival celebrated its fourth year in existence with a move to a bigger site.
The festival grew out of the live music events held in the Burnham Park Hall in Windsor Lane. Organising an outdoor version was the obvious next step.
Louise Hayday, the general manager at Burnham Park Hall who organised the festival said: "We began on the Green but it got too big for that, so this year we held it in Burnham Park which offered a much bigger space."
There was one big music stage and a smaller acoustic stage with 19 locally based bands performing on them throughout the afternoon and evening.
The event ran from 1pm to 10.30pm and initially it looked like it could prove disappointing.
But by the end of the event about 3,000 had come along to see the music and enjoy the range of activities available, including a bungee trampoline, bouncy castles and orbing balls they could roll around in.
Louise said: "We are really grateful to the people who stayed around with their umbrellas when it was raining and there was a great turn out in the evening."
