Officers have referred themselves to the police watchdog after a woman’s body was found in woodland in Downley last week.
A 44-year-old woman from High Wycombe was sadly found dead in the woods close to St James’ Church in Plomer Hill, Downley, on the evening of Wednesday, June 26.
The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed it has made a voluntary referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to “prior police contact”.
