This week, we asked Bucks Free Press readers for your favourite places to enjoy a cocktail in Bucks.

Here are the top five places, according to you.

1) Clayton’s, Marlow: The most popular suggestion on our list, Clayton’s is the favourite spot in Bucks according to our readers. One of our readers said: “I love going to Clayton’s. The atmosphere is always excellent and the staff make you feel like the most important customer. I can’t wait for my next visit!”

2) The Snug, High Wycombe: Another hugely popular suggestion, The Snug had universally positive feedback from our readers. One Tripadvisor review read: “The cocktails & mocktails were delicious. We were also given recommendations of which ones to try depending on what kind of flavours we liked. The staff really made you feel welcome. When we arrived it was quiet, by the time we left it was very busy. There was music playing but it wasn’t too intrusive. It was mostly tunes from the 90s & early 00s.”

3) Heidrun, High Wycombe: Third on our list, Heidrun is another popular local cocktail spot. One of our readers said that “the cocktails are immense, the prices are very good value for money and taste great. I always go for either a mojito or a daiquiri.” Another said: “this is the best place to go, no questions asked. Amazing cocktails.”

4) Beech House, Amersham: “The cocktails were so good it was like they were made by Tom Cruise! All of the cocktails were made incredibly professionally by the attentive staff and the flavour was one to savour. I’ll definitely be going back there as soon as possible!”

5) The Botanist, Marlow - Finishing off our list this week is the Botanist in Marlow. Again, Bucks Free Press readers gave The Botanist universally positive review. One of the readers said: “I went to The Botanist for my birthday with a group of friends and loved every second. I went back home and said to my fiancée we had to go. I took him and he enjoyed it as much as I did! I couldn’t recommend it enough.”
