TWO new show homes will be on view for the first time today (Saturday) when the latest phase of Inland Homes’ Helix apartments come on the market.

They’re part of the £500 million regeneration of the west side of Wycombe opposite the Desborough Road entrance to the Eden Centre.

Help to Buy will be an option for first time buyers and those who won’t own another home when they move into their smart new town centre pad at Centre Square.

The price for an apartment in the new block at Helix House starts at £224,999.

When the three and a half acre Centre Square development is completed sometime in 2021 there will be 239 flats spread between two new buildings and one remodelled and converted former office block.

As well as new homes and courtyard gardens there will be 15,845 square feet of commercial space – new shops and offices - and new car parking commensurate with the size of the development.

Stephen Wicks, Inland Homes CEO told the Free Press this week a number of companies have shown interest in the commercial space on the ground floor of the new apartment blocks.

The developer says the regeneration “is unlocking a key area of the town which has been derelict.

“The much-needed new road at Centre Square will link Marlow Hill to the A40 West Wycombe Road. It will form the southern gateway into the town centre and significantly improve the flow of traffic for the benefit of everyone.”.
