Firefighters were called out to Globe Business Park on First Avenue in Marlow after 60 litres of hypochlorite solution (bleach) fell from a rack in a warehouse.
The spillage occurred on Thursday, July 11 at approximately 12.10am, with two appliances and crews from High Wycombe Fire Station and three officers from Thames Valley Police attending the scene.
It took roughly two hours to clean up the mess with firefighters wearing specially made protective gauntlets which prevented the crew from sustaining chemical burns, before the warehouse was eventually vented out.
One man was treated at the scene as a precaution by South Central Ambulance Service.
It is unknown on what caused the spillage and no-one has been arrested following the incident.
