A High Wycombe homecare provider has been awarded a rating of ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Right at Home provides services to 40 clients and becomes the only homecare provider in the Wycombe District to hold the top CQC grading. Only two other providers have the top grade in Buckinghamshire.
According to the CQC report, published in late May 2019, “Right at Home was exceptional at placing Clients at the heart of its service and values. We saw and were told of many examples of staff going ‘above and beyond’ to help support Clients they care for.”
Deborah Ivanova, Deputy Chief Inspector for Adult Social Care, said: “People were receiving exceptional care with services being developed and tailored to their needs and at the same time treating people with kindness, compassion and respect.”
Samantha Wright, owner of Right at Home High Wycombe said: “We are ecstatic with this result, particularly as this is our first ever inspection. Our number one focus is to improve the quality of life of our Clients and for this to be recognised formally is an amazing feeling.
“We have a wonderful team of CareGivers and office staff whom we couldn’t do this without so a big thank you to them for their continued dedication and all their hard work.”
