Firefighters rushed to junction five of the M40 earlier this morning amidst fears that a coach carrying 38 passengers was on fire.
Bucks Fire and Rescue received reports at approximately 8.56am that smoke was coming from the coach on the southbound exit slip road.
Three fire engines from High Wycombe, Thame and Wheatley arrived at the scene and discovered that the coach had broken down and was not on fire.
The incident was left with Thames Valley Police and Highways England.
