Police are hunting for a man wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Chesham this week.
Junaid Nasir, 22, of no fixed abode, is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Alexander Street, at the junction with Berkhampstead Road.
He has been described as an Asian man, with black hair and brown eyes. He is of medium build and around 6ft tall, and is known to frequent Chesham.
It comes after a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds to his leg and a serious injury to his ankle at around 1am yesterday (Thursday) in Berkhampstead Road.
Police say the man is in a serious but stable condition after being rushed to hospital.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Mather of Aylesbury Force CID, said: “We would urgently like to trace Junaid Nasir.
“If you see him please do not approach him but call 999 immediately.”
