Three Marlow Conservatives councillors have been put forward to stand for the new unitary council for Buckinghamshire
The three candidates are Alex Collingwood, Carol Heap and Neil Marshall respectively.
Mr Collingwood is a county councillor and a Wycombe District Councillor for Marlow having first been elected to the town council in 1995. He has lived in Marlow for 48 years and currently works in accountancy.
Mrs Heap is a pharmacist and currently serves as a director for Health Watch Bucks. She is also a trustee for Community Impact Bucks.
Finally, Mr Marshall was previously a cabinet member for the planning and economic development for Wycombe District Council. He is a past Mayor of Marlow.
The unitary council, which will come into play in May 2020, will replace the current four district councils and one county council, with Buckinghamshire Council being the main assembly for the county.
