THERE were celebrations this month as 32 trainee teachers graduated as newly qualified.
On July 10, 32 teacher trainees graduated as fully qualified teachers after taking part in a teacher training course provided by Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training).
The academy works with 32 schools across High Wycombe, Amersham, Marlow, Monks Risborough, Farnham Common and the surrounding areas.
The students worked along side an assigned teacher-tutor giving them valuable work experience and would spend one day a week learning at the academy.
Family and friends attended the graduation.
Debrah Maddox, SCITT leader, said: “This is a huge achievement - they have had to work incredibly hard this year training to be teachers and we are all incredibly proud of them.”
