A manhunt has been launched after two men threatened a man with what is thought to have been a handgun and demanded money from him on his property in High Wycombe.

Between 1.00am and 1.30am on Friday (August 9) two men approached a man on his drive on Hicks Farm Rise.

They showed the victim what is thought to be handgun before demanding money from him.

Both men subsequently fled the scene. No one was injured in the incident.

The first offender is a black man, 5ft 7ins tall, slim build, in his early twenties with a short black beard. He was wearing a green two-piece tracksuit and black leather gloves and had his hood up.

The second offender is a black man, 6ft tall, slim build, clean shaven, also in his early twenties. He was wearing a black tracksuit and black leather gloves.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Jonathan Harland of Force CID based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This was a worrying incident in which a man was the victim of a robbery.

“We are carrying out a thorough investigation and members of the public may have seen an increased police presence whilst we continue to investigate.

“We are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward, we would also ask anyone who lives in Hicks Farm Rise and has access to CCTV to please check their footage and get in touch if it shows the incident or the offenders.”
