The Conservative candidates who will contest next May’s local election in Beaconsfield have been chosen by the local party.

Cllr Anita Cramer, Cllr Jackson Ng, and Cllr Alistair Bike have been chosen as the three candidates.

They will contest for a place on the new unitary Buckinghamshire Council, which will form next year.

Anita Cramer served as the Mayor of Beaconsfield from 2018 to May 2019 and is currently the County Councillor for Beaconsfield. Cllr Cramer is the cabinet member for education and skills and works with schools across the county with responsibilities including budgets, buildings and placements.

Jackson Ng has been serving on the town council for the last two years, whilst working as a barrister. He has previously worked as a solicitor, political advisor and an advisor for a range of multinational corporations.

Alistair Pike has been a town councillor in Beaconsfield since 2011 and has been the leader of the Conservative Group and the Town Council in 2015. Mr Pike is also currently the Deputy Mayor. Having worked in management consultancy, Cllr Pike is also currently the chairman of the Resources Committee.
