Drivers faced long delays on the M40 yesterday lunchtime after a horror crash between eight vehicles.
Emergency services were called to the M40 between junction five (Stokenchurch) and junction four (High Wycombe) at around 12.12pm yesterday.
Two fire engines from High Wycombe, one from Thame and one from Kidlington rushed to the scene/
One woman and one man had been released before the fire crews arrived. Firefighters did manage to rescue one woman, with injuries, and one man, uninjured. They used electronic cutting equipment to free the man and woman.
