Police conducting the weapon sweep this morning
Police officers from Chiltern and South Bucks have joined together with the British Transport Police to conduct a weapon sweep in Beaconsfield today.
Residents have been advised that there will be a larger police presence in Beaconsfield today than normal as the operation is carried out.
Thames Valley Police Chiltern and South Bucks tweeted earlier this morning: “Please don’t be alarmed by a larger police presence today.
“We are conducting a weapon sweep in Beaconsfield and the surrounding areas with the British Transport Police”
Thames Valley Police have been approached for further details about the operation.
