An application has been lodged to open a new financial and professional service provider in Chesham, on the site of a former ladies clothing shop.
The store – which is located at 87 High Street, Chesham, has been without a tenant since the former incumbent ceased trading as The Red Room last year.
Developers have said that they will not make any structural alterations to the site. The developers have said that they do propose to improve the exterior of the store given its current state.
In a letter to Chiltern District Council, the developers said: “There are other professional services in close proximity, and we do not propose to make any structural changes.
“Further, the building has been vacant for some considerable time and is now in quite a parlous state. Our proposal is to redecorate the entire façade which will enhance the street scene.”
