A man was set upon and attacked by a group of men in the early hours of Monday morning in Beaconsfield.
Police have confirmed that they received reports of a man being assaulted in Station Road, Beaconsfield, at around 12.25am on Monday morning.
The victim, a man in his forties, was assaulted by a group of men. He sustained facial and hand injuries in the attack.
Thames Valley Police have confirmed that the investigation into this attack is ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: "If anyone has any information about this incident we would ask them to contact the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 43190263054 or make a report online."
