The Conservative candidates who are set to contest at next year’s local election in the Chalfont St Giles ward have been chosen by the local party.
Councillor Tim Butcher, Councillor Carl Jackson and Simon Rouse are the three selected candidates for the ward, which includes the villages of Chalfont St Giles, Seer Green, Jordans and Coleshill.
Tim Butcher has represented Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire County Council since 2009 – also working as a Senior Class Underwriter for insurance firm Lloyds.
Carl Jackson has held the position of District Councillor for Chalfont St Giles and Jordans since 2015 and chairs an international research and training business.
Simon Rouse lives in Chalfont St Giles and is currently a Managing Director of a UK-wide employability and skills training company.
The local election is set to take place in May 2020.
