Chiltern District Council have permitted the demolition of a Chesham garage site in favour of redeveloping the land into housing.
Paradigm Housing Group have been given the green light to go ahead with plans to demolish 21 garages at Fuller Close - redeveloping the land into new dwellings.
The development will see the addition of three new two-bed, semi-detached properties to be accessed off Fullers close – each featuring two parking spaces and a rear garden.
In a document released online, Paradigm Housing Group state that they do not anticipate the loss of the garages to disrupt the local area; with all 16 of the current garage license holders living over 200m away from the site and 48% of the surrounding properties accessing off-street parking.
