THIS week we asked you to nominate your favourite spot for a roast in Bucks as we head into Autumn.

1) The Crown, Radnage
The Crown at Radnage was the most popular suggestion from our readers who love this quaint country pub. It boasts the “best gravy around” according to one of our readers, and has the “most beautiful slabs of juicy beef, tasty veg and Yorkshire puddings.”
2) The Prince of Wales, Marlow
This pub was also a reader favourite . Speaking of the chef one reader said: “ Carol has Sunday roasts down to a fine art - a classic meal with quality ingredients and gigantic portions that beat even the strongest of metabolisms.” So if you’re looking to indulge in some heartwarming food this could be the perfect place for you.
3) Risborough Golf Club, Princes Risborough
Lots of votes for this one. If you fancy a scenic dining experience Risborough Golf Club is the ideal place. Set in the rolling Chiltern Hills the restaurant is renowned for servicing “superb value Sunday lunch” in a relaxed and friendly setting where everyone is welcome.

4)Yew Tree, Frieth
Perfect for Midsomer Murders fans as ten episodes have been set in and around the village! Their Sunday Roast menu serves meat all locally sourced and bought from a prestigious butches in Convent Garden, London. A good option if you feel like treating yourself in a stunning bucks village.

5)The Walnut Tree, Bourne End
Dating back to the 1800s, the building is full of charm and character, located near Cliveden and just a short walk from the River Thames. Their Sunday menu offers a roasts in large or small portions, as well as just veg for any vegetarians or vegans. A customer said: “We visited here for Sunday lunch, despite it being really busy, the friendly landlady seated and greeted us immediately and our lunch was brought out within 15 minutes.” and “highly recommends this place.”
