Over the last couple of months we've had curry houses, pizza places, car mechanics, hairdressers, coffee shops and beer gardens, to name a few.
Here are some of the most highly commended recommendations that did not make our top five lists.
The Full Moon, Little Kingshill (best beer gardens)
One of the beer gardens that came in for a lot of praise amongst our readers was The Full Moon pub in Little Kingshill. A reader praised the friendliness of the staff, the variety of beers that are on offer and the welcoming atmosphere.
Bill’s, Marlow (best burger spots)
One of the recommendations for burger spots that did not reach our top five is Bills in Marlow. The restaurant is very popular with Bucks Free Press and came in for a lot of praise for the range of different options that can be enjoyed at the restaurant, the pricing of the meals and the hospitality of the staff.
Turkish Kebab, High Wycombe (best kebab shops)
Just missing out on our top five kebab shops, Turkish Kebab came in for a substantial praise. One of our readers said that “I would never go anywhere else. Having sampled a number of places after evenings out, Turkish Kebab is by far and away the best place for a kebab in High Wycombe.”
Twelve Twenty Coffee Shop (best coffee shops)
According to our readers one place that you should visit if you want to enjoy a coffee, Twelve Twenty in Amersham is one of the best places to visit. The factors which came in for particular praise from our readers was the fair pricing, the selection of food and the quality of the coffee.
Wooburn Park, Wooburn Green (best picnic spots)
One picnic spot that did not make our list was Wooburn Park in Wooburn Green. The large expanse of land is popular with families, especially with dogs, according to our readers. As the summer draws to a close - try and get to Wooburn Park before the weather becomes colder and enjoy a picnic with family and friends.
