A 32-year-old man has died after being hit by two cars in Hazlemere.

The man - from Hazlemere - was a pedestrian and police say he was in the road at the time of the crash, which happened at 11.55pm on Saturday, September 7 on the A404.

A white Mercedes hit the man, close to the junction with Gravelly Way, and a second car, a green Mitsubishi which was travelling behind, also collided with him.

The man died at the scene and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Both the drivers were not injured.

Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene of the crash.

Investigating officer, PC Julia Stroud, of the Serious Collison Unit, based at Bicester said: "I am appealing for anyone who may have any information about this incident to please come forward.

"I would also urge any drivers who drove along the A404 last night to check dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist us with our investigation.
