This year’s Chalfont St Giles show was one to remember as hundreds of people from the area and beyond enjoyed the many pastimes that were on offer.

Taking place last Saturday, September 7, at the village’s Stone and Silsden Meadows, the annual event had many activities on display which catered to both children and adults, as people from all ages enjoyed the several stalls, workshops and stunts that were on offer.

Activities ranged from taking part in creative writing, arts & crafts and cookery workshops, with an arcade, a funfair, a motorcycle freestyle show and a dog show also being on offer.

Several businesses from the Chalfont area were also in attendance, with the money raised going towards to a number of charities and causes in the area.

Peter Scott, who is part of the show’s committee told the Bucks Free Press: “The show is unique in the respect that there is something for everyone.

“People all across the south attend the event which is amazing as we’ve had people from West London and Surrey come along because they love what is on offer.

“The show is a huge part of the village’s history and it’s great to see so many people attend every year.”
