KFC is aiming to open at least new two new outlets in South Bucks - both of them drive-thrus.

The target areas are 'High Wycombe North' and Amersham.

Both of the branches KFC wants to open are drive-thrus.

The High Wycombe North location appears to be in the Desborough area of town, near Chairborough Road, according to locations published by the fast food giant.

KFC's target areas are shown on the map and on the list below.

*Note - exact target locations were provided by KFC, but may not be precise.

A spokesman for the company said: "We have bold ambitions to have over 1,000 stores in the UK and Ireland by 2020.

"We are looking to build over 50 new stores a year."

KFC was first introduced to the UK in 1965 with its first branch in Preston, but today it operates 850 outlets in the country.

High Wycombe already has two KFC branches - one on Kingsmead Retail Park and another in Frogmoor.

However any new outlet would be the town's first drive-thru KFC.
