West End hit musical will be showing at Aylesbury early next year.
The musical ‘Six’ will be showing at the Aylesbury Waterside from February 11 to 15 next year following the announcement of the full cast backed by an all-female band.
Six sees the six wives of Henry the VIII tell their own story through song and dance with a focus on female empowerment, with the songs from the show having totalled 50-million streams.
Two years ago, the show premiered as a student production at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and transferred to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York following sold out runs in Chicago and Boston.
There’s been continued success for the show in London and Six now embarks on a UK tour, which includes five dates at the Waterside Theatre.
The show promises to “remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.”
