A teenage boy was forced to hand over a ring he was wearing after a man appeared to threaten him with a gun in Chalfont St Giles.

The boy was walking along High Street at around 4.30pm on Friday, September 6, when he was approached by another man.

The man demanded he give him the ring he was wearing and showed the boy the handle of a gun that was tucked in his trousers.

The man took the ring and ran away in the direction of The Green.

Fortunately the boy was not injured in the robbery.

The man was described as being white, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, of lean build and aged in his mid to late teens.

He was wearing a grey and black North Face jacket and spoke with a local accent.

Police have now released an E-Fit of a man they would like to speak to.

Case Investigator Hazel Browne, based at Amersham police station, said: “I would like to speak to the person depicted in this E-Fit image, or anyone who recognises him.
