A couple of radio presenters from Marlow FM have been nominated for a national award.

Gemma-Leigh James and Sam Sethi have been recognised by the Community Radio Awards for their hard work and presenting skills over the last 12 months.

Gemma-Leigh, who presents the Thursday Breakfast show with her real-life partner Brian Naylor and the Afternoon Gold Decades show, was nominated for the Best Female Presenter award.

This comes 12 months after she was nominated for the Best Newcomer award.

Sam has been nominated for the Newcomer Award, a year after joining the Longridge based radio station.

He presents the weekly technology show and does several behind the scenes coverage for the station.

Both presenters have interviewed several big names such as Russell Brand, Tim Brooke-Taylor, and several department heads at the BBC, Amazon, and Microsoft.

Graham Duthie, Managing Director for Marlow FM said: “Marlow FM is a community station, and we have loads of volunteers like Gemma and Sam who generously give their time to make the station what it is.

“Getting this kind of recognition makes it worthwhile.”
