Adventurist Steve Backshall and his double gold-winning Olympic medallist wife Helen Glover have announced they’re expecting second child.
The news was revealed at this year’s Animal Hero Awards on September 30, with Helen reiterating the news on Twitter today, October 1.
This comes 17 months after the birth of the couple’s first child, Logan.
Steve and Helen currently live in Marlow.
In a statement to the Bucks Free Press, Steve said: “Helen and I are expecting again, just after we’ve finally started to get some sleep with Logan!
“It’s going to be another full-on year for us.
"All our friends in Marlow are probably terrified we’re going to hit them up for babysitting!”
Steve and Helen recently co-hosted a fundraiser at the town’s Crowne Plaza to raise funds for the Kogi People, who live in Colombia.
