This week we asked our readers’ where you can get the best cooked breakfast in Bucks.

Bacon and egg lovers responded in their masses, and these are the five places that came out on top.

1) Carol’s Kitchen at the Prince of Wales, Marlow - This one received a lot of votes and rave reviews. A large English breakfast and a stroll by the river sounds like a perfect autumn morning, and with the Prince of Wales being tucked just behind the sometimes manic Marlow High-street this is the best place for it. One reader said: “Lovely home cooked food, big portions and good price. The ladies are fantastic!”

2) Bluegrass BBQ, High Wycombe - A less traditional option, however if you’re a fan of classic American breakfasts Bluegrass BBQ is a great choice. The menu boasts a huge variety of stacked pancakes (which one reader said were “beautifully fluffy”), a typical American option of steak and eggs, and the usual cooked breakfast with a few quirky additions such as BBQ beans.
