The Radhuni in Princes Risborough has been declared a finalist for the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards for the South-Central award category.

The awards, sometimes referred to as the 'Oscars of the curry industry', will take place in London on October 13 at Westminster Park Plaza and will be hosted by BBC News presenter Samantha Simmonds and comedian Paul Martin.

Britain’s curry industry is worth over four billion pounds and in 2015 statistics showed that curry houses accounted for a fifth of the restaurant business in the UK.

The event which will be attended by celebrities, politicians and business leaders all there to celebrate the variety of high-quality Indian food available in Britain from small eateries to 5-star curry houses.

The winners will be decided based on data from ChefOnline, who surveyed over 350,000 customers to find out about their South Asian cuisine preferences in their local region.

The Radhuni was established in 2004 and is located on Church Street in Princes Risborough.
