One of Greece’s most iconic saxophonists will be performing at the Marlow Jazz Club on Tuesday, October 15.
Vasilis Xenopoulos, who is currently embarking on a tour across the country, has regularly showcased his sax skills at the Royal British Legion Hall and will be joined with his quartet of Steve Waterman on the trumpet, John Pearce on the piano, bassist Julian Bury and drummer Matt Fishwick.
The group of musicians will be performing tracks of Vasilis' new album, 'Dexterity', which is a cover collection of some of Dexter Gordon's most popular sax hits.
Dexter Gordon died in 1990 at the age of 67 due to kidney failure and cancer.
Tickets cost £10 and the concert will start at 8.30pm.
