‘Ten Times Table’ will be touring this autumn opening at the Theatre Royal Windsor on October 8.

Written by multi-award-winning playwright Alan Ayckbourn it’s the inaugural production of The Classic Comedy Theatre Company who are behind other theatre companies such as The Agatha Christie and The Classic Thriller.

The cast is led by actor Robert Daws who is well-known for playing Dr. Gordon Ormerod in ‘The Royal’ as well as other roles in 'Poldark', 'Outside Edge', and 'Roger Roger'.

Deborah Grant from ‘Not Going Out’ will join him as well as ‘Emmerdale’s’ Gemma Oaten and many other famous faces.

The play follows the planning and interesting outcome of members of The Pendon community as they plan their town’s first pageant.

The planning comes under difficulty when the left and right-wing members of the community clash over what this event should really represent, and somewhat hilarious chaos endues as politics divides this mix of individuals.

Discussing theatre Robert Daws said: “It is a unique experience and very different to anything else you come across other than maybe sport.

“I firmly believe that when you’re in the theatre, when that big laugh comes, and you’ve got 1000 people laughing their heads off together at that moment, that’s theatre’s goal. It’s thrilling.”

‘Ten Times Table’ will be showing at the Theatre Royal Windsor from October 8 to 19, tickets can be bought online at Theatreroyalwindsor.co.uk or by calling 01753 853 888. Tickets start from £19.50
