Firefighters were called out to Marrod's Bottom, near Winchmore Hill in Amersham following a suspected car arson in the late hours of Tuesday, October 8.
Thames Valley Police also attended the scene where a BMW (its model has yet to be confirmed), was extinguished, with firefighters using one hose reel, one set of breathing apparatus and a dry powder extinguisher.
There are also unconfirmed reports that the car was stolen.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made as of yet.
