This week we asked our readers what they think is Bucks’ best Chinese.
People responded in their masses, and these are the establishments which made the top five.
1) Golden Palace, High Wycombe - Many of our readers had kind words to say about the food served here. One reader said: “Classic Chinese takeaway, good value tasty food. Fantastic staff who are always good to chat with.”
2) Ken’s Beijing, Amersham - This Chinese restaurant offers a take-away service as well as the option to dine in, and has been in the town for over 40 years making it a much-loved destination for the people of Amersham and beyond. One customer said: “We’ve always had an excellent meal here. His crispy Aromatic Duck is the best I have had anywhere, crispy outside and moist within and the pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant makes it an ideal place to go and eat.”

3) Peking House, High Wycombe - Located near the train station this Chinese takeaway is always busy on a Friday and Saturday night. One reader said: “Amazing! Best Chinese I’ve tasted in years, authentic and fresh ingredients. They deliver too!”
4)Jewel of Oriental, Naphill - Jewel of Oriental has an extensive menu and very reasonable prices. A frequent fear when ordering at a Chinese takeaway is possible greasy food and long waiting times, but with one customer branding the service “fast and fresh” that wouldn’t be a concern here.

5) Kun Sing, Beaconsfield - One customer branded Kun Sing the “best in Buckinghamshire.” If you order online at their website you’ll receive 5 free spring rolls, but this is not the end to the freebies they offer as if you spend over £15 you will receive free prawn crackers. Worth the visit if you’re looking for great deals.
