Local councils deal with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are some of the best projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

1) Colour Plan House, 104 West Richardson Street, High Wycombe: The building is hoping to be converted to a 2-bed flat from currently being used for light-industrial work. This will add more property to central High Wycombe withy great access to shops, restaurants and work.

2) Marlow Winery, Pump Lane North, Little Marlow: The Marlow Winery is a family run business passionate about making wine. They hope to be able to change the use of the tractor shed to create additional winery space, and to include a visitor’s reception, staff area, toilets and an access ramp.

3) Formoso And Land Adjacent Formoso Kiln Lane Bourne End: An application has been submitted for the demolition of Formoso and erection of 8 dwellings with associated car ports garages and a pair of semi-detached dwellings with access to site using existing shared private driveway onto Kiln Lane and associated external alterations.

4) 25 Knighton-Way Lane New Denham: A proposal for the demolition of the existing dwelling and the erection of a single storey dwelling with habitable roof space.

5) Huntswood Golf Club, Taplow Common Road, Burnham: An application for a replacement building to be used as a clubhouse, function ad events venue with replacement car park. This would be an exciting renovation for members and could attract more customers too.
