Marlow has been revealed as the top UK location for gastropubs with two entries in the top 15 of SquareMeal’s UK Top 100 restaurants.
The Coach was ranked 15th and The Hand and Flowers made the top ten placing 9th on the list.
SquareMeal’s bases the top 100 on thousands of votes from an annual survey and is the only poll to exclude London restaurants.
SquareMeal’s Editor, Ben McCormack, said: “SquareMeal’s UK Top 100 is gratifying proof that opportunities to eat well now exist across the country.
“What I also find interesting is how the little pockets of dinning excellence are revealed and, in 2019, this list clearly demonstrates that restaurants can thrive across the country and that a town can become a nationally recognised food destination.
“There’s never been more of an appetite for dining out in the UK – and UK diners have never been so spoilt for choice.”
