Prime Minister Boris Johnson took part in an art class with reception pupils at a Beaconsfield primary school this afternoon.
Pupils were thrilled to meet the PM on his visit to St Mary and All Saints Primary School in Maxwell Road to promote the government's new plans for a cash boost for struggling schools.
A far cry from his intense Brexit discussions in Ireland yesterday, he spoke with pupils and joined in with their art class, helping four-year-old Scarlet Fickling with her creation.
He also took a tour round the school, chatting with head teacher Jenny Barnett.
