A man was threatened at knifepoint in High Wycombe on Thursday evening.

Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal after a man in his twenties was approached by two men while he was sat on his moped in a car park at the back of Wright Place on Micklefield Road at 7.45 on Thursday evening.

One of the men drew a knife and demanded that the victim get off his moped.

The two men took the keys, leaving the moped in place, and fled the scene. They ran down Micklefield Road in the direction of Corals Bookmakers.

The victim did not sustain any injuries and the keys were later recovered.

The first offender is described as a black man of a thin build, around 5ft10ins tall, with black dreadlocks down to his jawline.

He was wearing a black puffer jacket with a hood, and his face was partially obscured as he was using his jacket to cover the bottom half of his face.

The second offender is also described as a black man of a thin build, approximately 5ft10ins tall, and was wearing a black puffer jacket and a hooded top. He was also obscuring the bottom half of his face with his jacket.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Harry Gehnich said: "I am appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time of the offence who believes that they may have any information to contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190315063, or to make a report online.

"Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111."
