Thirty laptops were stolen from a Hazlemere primary school over the weekend.
In a post on The Friends of Hazlemere School, which has now been shared over 570 times, a representative of Hazlemere CofE Schools’ PTA expressed their frustration following the burglary.
The post reads: “Unfortunately our school was broken into over the weekend and over 30 laptops stolen.
“These laptops were purchased a result of hard work fundraising by the PTA and parent support and has left us lost for words at this senseless crime.
“We ask that people share this post locally and make it impossible for people to sell these laptops on.
“The police have all the serial numbers and if anyone is offered a cheap second-hand laptop please consider it may be one of the schools and report it.”
Many parents have expressed their anger in response to the post.
Emma Walker said: “Awful stealing from a school.”
Shanika Attale Large: “How low can some people get?! Unbelievable!!”
Thames Valley Police have been approached to provide more details and an update into the investigation.
