The Misbourne School was evacuated earlier this morning after a mobile phone exploded.
Bucks Fire and Rescue received a call at around 8.40am following the explosion at the Great Missenden School.
Three fire engines, including two from High Wycombe and one from Amersham, attended the scene.
The school had been safely evacuated.
A spokesperson from Bucks Fire and Rescue confirmed to the Bucks Free Press “A concerned parent called us after she heard that there were fire engines at the school, and had heard on the grapevine that there was a big fire.
"We were keen to provide reassurance that this wasn’t the case.
“Fortunately, we were only on the scene for around fifteen minutes whilst we dealt with the incident.”
