TV star Ross Kemp will turn on Marlow's Christmas lights next month.
The actor, author and investigative journalist will climb atop Marlow Town Council's double-decker bus in the High Street.
The TV hard-man is the latest celebrity to flick the switch in recent years after the likes of Russell Brand and Tom Kerridge.
When's it happening?
The event on November 21 to officially launch the start of the festive season in the town.
The switch on will be held at 6.30pm, but the High Street will be shut from 5pm to 7.30pm.
What else is happening?
‘Snow’ will be falling in the High Street with 'snow' from 6pm.as people gather for the spectacle.
There will be carols and festive music around the bus, which will be stationed outside the Chequers pub as usual.
Marlow Mayor Richard Scott said: “We’re delighted that Ross Kemp has agreed to be our guest celebrity at our Switch On this year. I’m sure he’ll do a great job.”
Ross joins a long line of celebrities who have turned on the town's Christmas lights - including Tom Kerridge, Russell Brand, Edd China and Mary Berry.

Ross rose to prominence in the role of Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.
Since 2004, Kemp has received international recognition as a journalist for the BAFTA Award-winning documentary series Ross Kemp on Gangs.
