A number of jazz musicians from Marlow and the surrounding areas will be celebrated at the town’s Royal British Legion Hall on Sunday, November 3.

Starting at 12.15pm at the Station Approach venue, the jazz musicians will be joined with a professional trio which will feature Alex Hutton on piano, Jason Reeves on the drums and Stuart Barker on the bass.

The musicians will play a mixture of jazz tunes on the night.

This event comes a couple of weeks after the Marlow Jazz Club as well as Royal British Legion Hall saw Vasilis Xenopoulos play in the town.

The Greek instrumentalist, who is currently embarking on a tour across the country, has regularly showcased his sax skills at the Royal British Legion Hall and will be joined with his quartet of Steve Waterman on the trumpet, John Pearce on the piano, bassist Julian Bury and drummer Matt Fishwick.

The Marlow Jazz Club were formed during the 1970s when they were originally known as The Chilterns Jazz Appreciation Society.
