The English Youth Ballet is hosting auditions for young dancers for an exciting production of ‘Giselle’ on November 11 at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury.

At the audition dancers aged between eight and 18 will have be able to join the English Youth Ballet to rehearse with and dance alongside international principal dancers in the 3 performances at the Waterside in April next year.

The EYB is now in its 22nd successful year and one of the largest ballet companies in the UK.

EYB Director, Janet Lewis, said: “The EYB audition is an experience in itself.

“EYB is all about performance experience and this starts at the audition as the dancers are given a regular ballet class with parents and family encouraged to watch.

“We are looking for young dancers of all abilities who can show the audience how much they enjoy their dancing."

Each audition will take the form of a regular ballet class and will take place on the stage.

Dancers will find out on the day if they are successful, and it’s advisable to register before the audition by contacting info@englishyouthballet.co.uk.
