Full details ahead of the Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Sunday have been released, including road closures.
The annual event will see the parade leave Queen Victoria Road at 10.30am. The Mayor ill then take the salute in the High Street, before proceeding to the war memorial outside All Saints’ Parish Church.
This will then be followed by a short service, led by Reverend Hugh Ellis, during which wreaths will be laid.
Members of the public are then invited to attend the church and join a service of remembrance.
A Road Closure Order will be in force from 7.00am until 3.00pm, although the roads are expected to reopen sooner.
The following roads will be affected:
• High Street
• Corporation Street
• Church Street
• Queens Square
• Castle Street from Priory Road to NCP Car Park
• Priory Road from Church Street to Priory Avenue
• The Swan Theatre Service Road
• Queen Victoria Road (for the passing parade only).
