The sky has been scattered with stunning displays of fireworks in the last few weeks with many organisations across the county hosting their very own displays, often with celebrity guests, food stands, and fairground rides.

Whether you went to a busy event or simply watched from the comfort of your own home, here are the places to note down for next years bonfire night.

Here are the top five displays that happened in the county, as voted for by our readers.

1)Naphill - This exciting fireworks display had incredible live music, hot food and fun for all the family in this small and homely village. One reader said: “What a great way to start the festive season, a cosy night watching beautiful fireworks. I went with my friends so it was a nice change to what we’d normally do.”

2)Bledlow Ridge - These fireworks were from the award winning Sonning Fireworks LTD. There was also a huge bonfire at the event, which also served everyone’s festive favourite of mulled wine.

3) Downley - The bonfire and torchlight procession returns! One reader said: “The display was absolutely brilliant. There was a real family atmosphere and even though it was a bit chilly outside myself and my family really enjoyed it. We’ll be going back next year.”

4) Beaconsfield - The Bucks Free Press Camera Club members posted many incredible photographs of the incredible display of high quality fireworks. One reader said: “A great night, and the best fireworks I’ve ever seen, an event worth travelling for.”

5)Marlow Monster Fireworks Show - This extravagant display was a big hit with locals. Not only was there a spectacular firework show there was also a BBQ and an extensive bar serving everything from Marlow Brewery IPA to cocktails. One attendee said: “This event was fun for everyone. There were couples, young people and families. It was great to see the community come together to enjoy the fireworks.”
